Looks like mechanical to me. I've gone thru a lot of rolls in the last couple of months of isolation, and truely believe you can find an error in every roll. Started another album for those I found interesting, the rest go back to circulation for someone else to discover.

Thanks for the input stmpcol & your right about the numerous lincolns. Seems after looking at so many coins sometimes we see things that aren't realy there LOL.

I thought the same but wasn't real sure!

If whoever tends the store here wants they can delete this entire thread post for my answer was given by a second pair of eyes.
Thank You
MC (bad spelling fixed)

It's Machine Doubling.

First step is to determine whether it's Machine Doubling or a doubled die. Second step, if the coin is a doubled die, is to look it up and see if it's listed.

Thank You CC, I figured it was MDD though it didn't appear as defined with flat shelving and seemed to be more rounded of sorts. I have been to your site but for some reason alot of pages don't open for me and I am trying to determine if it is my security and virus software. Any suggestions ?

Please email me regarding site issues. This isn't the place to go through technical support for a different site. Thanks. cd@coppercoins.com
