I'm sure you folks get annoying questions like these from Newbies all the time. I have a collection of Canadian Coins I'm looking to sell. I will probably list them in lots by denomination, so the value of each denomination separately would be helpful. I've graded them as best I can... no scans yet.

Many of the dimes are really dark with tarnish. Does this happen with all silver-content coins?

Here's my list:

Hello Skierson,

It doesn't seem like there is any collector value in the coins you mentioned as a result of the low grades. Either you can sell them to a dealer for "melt" value, appr. $20.00 or just take 'em all to your local Tim Horton's and enjoy a Large >double-double.

As to tarnish, you can usually wipe it off with your finger; it still makes the coin look better, but isn't the same as polishing them.
