I just visited the "Coinsandcanada" site to see what you meant by this statement. What they have is a list of replacement prefixes (or significant signature change-overs). They do not list the regular (10,000,000 run) prefixes. V/X actually happens to be the last prefix of the 1954 $5 so is a short prefix with a run of 8,000,000 and a marginal premium in higher grades. If you want a comprehensive list of BOC prefix runs you need to get a copy of the Charlton Guide Canadian Government Paper Money. http://charltonpress.com/Numismatic...780889684096 I agree with "Coinfrog's" assessment- that the note looks about VF35-EF40 (but is pretty difficult to nail it down remotely with a few photos or scans).
