I recently got a deal on about 25 proof State Quarters. I wasn't planning on starting a collection of these but this deal was too good to pass up. I got all of them for about $18.00.
So now I've decided to go ahead and get the whole series. My question is this. I'd like to put them in a album or folder but don't know which one is best. Looking for suggestions.

Clad proof or silver proof? If you want to collect them all, circulation strikes, clad proof and silver proof (four per year), the Dansco album pair #8143 and #8144 would hold all of those. If you just wanted to collect the proofs (one per year), the Dansco #7146 has one slot per state.

If you look up Coin Albums in Google you would find that there are numerous companies that make Albums. I suggest you keep away form any type Folders. As to which Album to use, it is a shame there isn't a comparitive web site where you could compare all the different types available.
Almost everyone on this forum is sort of Dansco oriented but there really are a lot of others available.
For example if you go to the Whitman web site and request a catalog, you would see that Whitman Publishing makes many types of Albums under different names. They make the Whitman, United States Mint and Harris Albums.
Again, I do suggest not using a Folder for any coins.

I agree with these choices. An album is preferred over folders, especially when storing proofs.
