Possible Lincoln Cent Brockage? - Coin Community Forum

abcoin New Member United States 15 Posts	Posted 04/05/2012 11:40 pm Hello everyone! I'm new on the forum here. Recently, I found this 1977-D Lincoln Cent in a roll of coins from my bank. The mirror image on the reverse caught my attention, and I would like to know if this is a brockage of some sort or just some post-mint damage. Any expert opinions are welcome. Thanks in advance! If it were a squeeze from a vise the damaged area would be spread out over the entire surface of the coin. With a hammer blow, just certain areas will be affected. Report this Post to the Staff
