ANA Show Tomorrow

Let me tell you what I did this past weekend at the NH Coin Expo:

I traded a common, ordinary $5 gold piece and $84 for a 1912-S nickel in VF-20.
I traded my old 12-S, with several problems, my 1886 nickel with TAPE all over it, and $300
for an 1886 in VF-35.

I find that this "trade plus cash" works best for me.

If you don't want to leave a coin behind then do a little hustle. You may have to sell some bullion
to dealer 1 to raise cash and then trade a few classics and cash to dealer 2.
The dealers with the coins that I want are NOT bullion people.
And they are not interested in classic coins unless they are in high grades or rare dates.
