That way we know what to look at. Its also good to post a photo of the entire coin as well as the area in question. It looks like you take good pictures which is very important. First off I do not recommend cleaning any coin but for an experiment try using a very soft old used toothbrush and mild hand soap on this coin. You already have a very nice pic of the date before cleaning it and if you would post a pic after cleaning it with the same magnification and alignment it would be cool to see the comparison. I am not telling you to clean the coin, it is just an idea and your decision. John1 Report this Post to the Staff
