nickelsearcher Moderator United States 15425 Posts	Posted 08/17/2012 4:39 pm During the course of my cent roll searches I have set aside over 400 1972 LMC ... knowing that someday I would have tools better than my poor eyesight and 8x loupe to search them closely for the various DDO that exist for that date. I now have the necessary tool ... a tremendous USB scope ... and am very much looking forward to examining the coins. Still a lot to learn relative to capturing color accurate and in-focus images with the USB scope ... but ... for example ... I can capture an entire coin ... in this case an AU 1972 LMC. I can zoom in and view the legends ... or any other detail I choose on the coin ... And I can capture individual letters ... I have a big learning curve to properly utilize this USB scope to it's potential ... Great fun to be had viewing coins in the world of 200x ... looking forward to hopefully sharing some nice finds with all of you. I hope you come across some nice examples of the LMC- 001 and 004.
