Got a 64 d Roosevelt dime from a coinstar today. That is the first you s coin I have found in a Coinstar machine in probably two years. Gotta love free silver.

I have had extreme luck with the coinstar rejects at my Credit Union lately. In the last three weeks, I have pulled the following: 1946, 1952, 1952-S and 1964 dimes PLUS a 1942 Mercury! Also a 1974-S cent and so many other random foreign coins including something beat up dated 1918.

$1.05 in CAD dimes, nickel & quarters at the grocery store Coinstar.

Pretty good because they were all 99% nickel years, except for one dime.

First time I got anything out of a coin counter reject! Walked past the machine at my nearby TD, didn't even turn my head that way since it's always been empty, but today something red and shiny caught my eye. Here's what I got:

Strange that perfectly good coins like these got rejected, but it doesn't matter anyway since I got them!

I found a 1945-S Silver War Nickel! The only problem is it is cleaned harshly. I could see the shine 10 Feet away!

I found a 1935 LWC on Monday in the coin counting machine reject bin at my bank! I'll try and post pics once I find my camera.

Just took a quick peek in the coin return as I was hurrying through the store and found this nice '64! That's my 4th silver coin find in the last 24 hours!

Started looking in the Coinstar at the local Safeway a few months ago... never saw anything, finally found a 2008 English Penny, and some sort of pin, I can't believe it didn't jam the thing up! Hey, it's something!
