Hey solotime - it looks to me like you might be able to do well at a local coin shop if one is near you. Generally speaking, proof coins are not all that expensive for past, non-silver sets. And at a good shop you could see a bunch o them in hand before buying. You possibly could fill that buffalo folder a lot faster also.

Earle42, thanks, my coin dealer comes to the flea market on Wednesday. He really doesn't carry much buffalo's though. I have bought my gold coin from him and much other things. I will see of my coin dealer has one but if I end up buying one from this site I won't have to then. But other wise I'm done looking for now. So tired!

Here's something I might just buy:

It looks like a great deal. My dealer sells them for 3.50.

Thats not a bad snag at all for the proof halfs even with the shipping . If your planning on doing a bunch of sets it may be cheaper to just get mint sets or proof sets and cut them up like I do.

I bought the Kennedy's last night. I'm not going to buy them all buy you're saying I can get them cheap from the mint sets? Could you give me a link to one of them. I just want to get an idea of it.

Thanks!
