Thinking about submitting this Ike to get slabbed. Would it be slabbed or bodybagged?

Would-This-Lowball-Ike-Grade?

Picked it up from the local coin shop out of the Ike bin... the bin is marked $1.50, but the owner looked at this one and only charged me $1.

I know they won't slab dateless coins, but since it's a bicentennial, I think I'm ok there. I think it's a Denver mint based on the small bump beneath the bust.

I have no idea. But lets hope someone who knows about it can help. The coin looks cool but it's strange.

Nice! That is one cool coin. Wonder if that seller will sell it for that much? If he does, I almost want to walk around w/ one in my pocket to wear it down, then send it in for grading

unless it is obvious that it was hit by a sander, it will grade. the lowball ike stuff is kind of sketchy to me, because nearly all of the low end coins have been manipulated. I had a pocket piece that I wore down to about XF-40 after a year and a half myself, I think getting it down to this takes some help.

That's definitely a P01. I like the idea of a P01 slabbed Ike .

Yeah, I dont know for sure that I've ever seen a P01 in a slab. Definitely not common.

Will TPGs slab dateless coins? Do they just label it 'genuine' or 'authentic'? I realize in this case the date is known due to the design.

Very cool coin, BTW. I love PO1s and FR2s.

Now you have persuaded me to pick one coin and carry it around in my pocket everywhere I go!
Any suggestions for Canadian coinage? What denomination

How about one of the new loonies? I've got one in not very nice shape. Do you think the design/strike is too weak to get that far and be anything more that a piece of metal?

I wonder if you could make one like that with one of those ammo brass cleaning media type bowls. Lol I can't think of the name.

No reeding. Weighs 21.2 g. Raymo- I have wondered the same thing about using a tumbler.
