I agree with a reverse of '78, and probably a VAM-4. But I think it would grade in at a MS-62.. Maybe it's just the pics but with that much clatter on the face I don't see it getting a 63. Very nice CC though!
I bought this coin and now I can add more pics just to confirm if it is a VAM 4 or other variety. Something seems to be wrong with the last S in States. Does this identify a VAM variety. I just read something about VAM varieties and I dont think so but I'm just a young italian coin collector not really expert...
If I was too submit this same type of coin to ANACS for grading/attribution would I write simply "Vam-4" for the variety or "Rev of 78, Vam-4" on the variety line.... a bit confusing if they are one in the same.
