I think every general collector has a "junk" drawer. I buy house clearance lots at a local auction and inevitably the junk piles up. Mostly it's for unspent Euros which I can spend here reasonably easily. With hindsight Tom has the right idea - focus and pick out meaningful coins to buy. But all the low level stuff I collected as a kid I wouldn't part with so it gets filed and catalogued with the rest :)
