could anyone shed some light on the counter-marks on this rupee, I believe it may have been used someplace other than India

those are breast cancer ribbons. Must be an older similar countermark. I couldn't see why this would happen in this day and age.

You guys must be seeing some pink that's not visible to me. The first ribbons like that were red ones for AIDS awareness; all the rest are for latecomer causes, copying the AIDS ribbon with other random colors.
