I've been carrying these two for some time now, because I really like the shape and size of those coins. I bought 1935 Walking Liberty and later realized it was cleaned, so after some months, I decided to carry it around. The 1987D quarter was given to me (with some 30+ quarters) by a friend from a trip in US.

I like the Walker. I definitely prefer a lowball over a cleaned coin in a higher grade.

This is my latest pocket piece. (Retired my 1936 that I showed earlier). A 1949 Commemorative Silver Dollar. Hard to find one this low grade. Hope I can wear it down to a "Low Ball"

That'll take a while, but it looks like a great pocket piece.

That's a nice looking Walker Dagaz. Shame it was cleaned I would hate to see a high grade classic coin worn down since they aren't making any more of them like they are with ASE's but it is your coin and I hope you enjoy watching it's progress. On that note these will be the new additions to my pocket (or I might go with 2 pockets) starting Jan 1. The 1967 silver MNS medal should wear down fast (and act a good grinder) since there is no rim. I still haven't decided between the 2015 W or the reverse proof. If I went with the RP even though it is a P I would hope a TPG would recognize it is silver and not the common circulation issue. My 1964 dime seems to have really taken a beating after 8 months. And my ASE after 11 months.

Yes, a agree that the RP would be more interesting to follow that the W. You could also do both. The ASE is looking looking good.

I have a rule, nothing smaller than a half. I'd like to see that RP next Christmas jack so I say do it

That would be something to admire. I suppose you'd probably be left with a normal-ish coin with some matte surfaces hanging out around the devices.

I've got these 3 lined up for JAnuary 1. The $20 for $20 has some handling marks and spilled beer stains from sitting on my desk fo the last month or 2. The MNS medal / token is already toned on one side and rim rainbow toned on the outer edge on the white side. The RP Roosevelt was an unwilling pocket sacrifice as it did not want to come out of the OGP capsule just like the MOD dollar. I'm not sure how the TPG's crack them out but I am sure they have a system.

I can't wait to see the RP and $20 for $20 in circulated condition!
As for my pocket pieces, the 2010-D half is showing some wear and is toning nicely in my pocket. Not much progress on the pair of 1899 quarters. I also added two more to the mix recently- a beat up 1829 large cent and a 1678 Scottish sixpence.

Here's an update on the NIFC half, which has been in my pocket for over a month now. It's starting to show some wear, as well as some nice toning which is not evident in the picture.

I bought a roll of 2015 maple leaves online yesterday, so I may add one of those.

Current state of the pocket. My pockets clanged more with just the 3 dollars and dime and quarter than they do now with the new additions.
