Hi All,

I believe that I may have found it! I would appreciate your opinions on this. It is so difficult to get good images at this resolution.

Is this the elusive and much desired 1988 D FS-901 or am I just reaching for it?

I see some contact in the area of the "FG", but there is another way to tell if it is RDV-005 or 006. It is on the AME on AMERICA. The 005 has rounded devices and the 006 has flat devices.

To me this looks like an 005. Just my opinion.

Thank you both! I believe that you must be right as the AM aren't squared enough. The F, too, looks a little to far away.

Ahhhh now I understand why stereo microscopes were invented. Its for these extremely insane closeups of items that are good to collect.
Though a few of these type coins might have to be scoped at a third party grading service, and certified, man, this is just too close and detailed or picky for my tastes.
I'd seriously go blind and never get through a single bag if I had to go through that much detail....Hehehehehe.

Good try, keep digging they are out there - because people like me don't want to look for them !

Collector-Corner -- I can certainly relate to that! I only use it once I think that I might have found something. I would be blind in my right eye by now otherwise...

Now that I know to look for the devices on the AM it will be much easier.

Thank you for the feedback all - I really appreciate it.

I don't search at a that close. I zoom back and when I want something to show clearly, then I zoom in.
