Hi All!

I just found this beauty and felt the need to share it. It's an uncirculated 1959-P Tapered Planchet error from an OBW. Let me know if I shouldn't be uploading pics like this & I will refrain from doing so in the future.

Just had to share it with someone...

These are much tougher to find in uncirculated condition. Too bad it isn't a little more dramatic though.

First off GREAT PICTURE UPLOAD MORE!! I have never heard of this interesting planchet thats awesome and super neat thanks for posting and I am sure I echo what everyone else will say please keep posting this is a great thread

Thank you everyone for the support! biokemist6 -- My scale just isn't sensitive enough to give me accurate readings but my best guess is that it is somewhere between 2.5 & 3. Kitchen food scale; close but no cookie ;-)

I always thought that a tapered Planchet would weigh the same & just have the distribution uneven. I was surprised to a weight difference.
