xodus Valued Member United States 121 Posts	Posted 04/10/2014 7:21 pm I was told by an outside person about these and was wondering if I could get some feedback. Since up until now I've used dental picks, DW or oil and/or a toothbruth. I try to only use my pick if I absolutely have to. And if possible, post or email a cheap place to buy them :) Thanks! I know that museums use hawthorn thorns, but there are none where I live! I use a scalpel and sometimes my dogs used insulin syringes (very carefully). I have bamboo stakes for the garden, might give them a bit of a shave tomorrow.... Report this Post to the Staff

For light cleaning jobs they are very handy and easily sharpened with an exacto knife or other blade. Sometimes a finger nail is adequate but for those tight spaces a bamboo skewer is ideal.
