Finally, I got outside to detect! It's been a long winter.

$3.54 in change, oldest coin is a 1972 penny (not that impressive). My school dates back over 100 years, but no luck yet... we'll see, it's a couple years yet until I graduate...

Most excitingly - a Polish coin, 5 groszy, 2007!!

I really, really love foreign finds from the ground - they combine the novelty of a foreign roll find with the satisfaction of a buried coin find. This makes coins from four countries I have found buried - Canada (of course), USA (of course), UK (1 pound in a sand playground!) and now Poland! Awesome!

Nice Finds. I wish dollar coins circulated in the US and we had $2 coins. Better yet, we need $5 coins. That could lead to a very good day!

The $2 dollar coin is a neat find! I don't see many of those here in Ohio even with the close proximity to the border.
