I've done a little research and can see that the 1880 coin is likely out of my range for the time being, as I would prefer higher grade coins. For starters I am interested in finding a nice 1885 example. Besides ebay, where does one look for such coins? What are reasonable prices to pay for them in MS60-61 condition? Thanks for the advice. I would like to connect and share knowledge with anyone that is collecting this series. I have done quite a bit of population report research & trend analysis that I would happily share with those who are interested. Just let me know what your NFLD $2 interests are (missing pieces & grading targets). I might see the item and happy to pass on info. I'm looking for MS63+ level coins in years 1865,1880,1881 and 1872. Let me know if you come across any please.
