these were all issued by the mint. The first ones you had to go to a coin exchange to get them. the flag one was sold by the mint on the website for 50 cents (1 of each of the coins) and the cord was free.
some retailers like colonial acres have the older cards and offered them for free with purch ASE
Thanks All for the replies. @ ace ftw - I'm looking for the last two years of the cards or so. I have some "war of 1812" I would trade one for one if anyone is game... i like freebies too !! cheers
@ace ftw yes the arctic one I'm look for and the flag and wasn't there some before that? would you like to trade for the arctic? email me if you like :) cheers
I would like a bunch of these for nieces/nephews, but even the ones on ebay are ridiculous prices (eg: $12-20 + shipping for (what was a free) empty cardboard coin holder) is a little shocking... I have a couple I got from the winnipeg mint, but the few newer ones I have are ones hat my dad & step-mom got from the mint. I'd love to get a handful of the olympic ones if anyone is sitting on a stash of them.
