nealeffendi Pillar of the Community Australia 852 Posts	Posted 10/26/2014 9:43 pm The 2 looks to have a slightly tapered base. I've never read about a date variety for this coin, but the halves are not very well researched so it is possible that a die variety exists. The only problem is that the mint would of needed a different 2 punch from their normal 2 punch and would have needed to make another hub. Highly unlikely. More likely the wear and tear of circulation has done this. Report this Post to the Staff
