In 2014, the milestones included: - Centennial of the start of the First World War - 75th anniversary of the start of the Second World War - 150th anniversary of the Charlottetown and Québec Conferences - Bicentennial of Sir George-Étienne Cartier's birth Each of these four official milestones was marked by at least one commemorative coin (in the case of the World Wars, multiple coins were issued). In 2015, Canada will officially celebrate: - Bicentennial of Sir John A. Macdonald's birth - 50th anniversary of the National Flag of Canada It seems likely that one or more coins for each of these anniversaries is likely as a 2015 release. CC-Ottawa Pillar of the Community Canada 3690 Posts	Posted 11/05/2014 2:24 pm Looking forward to a 50th anniversary flag coin to go with the 2005 red enamel - one of my favourites and one of the few I paid a premium to get. Can't do any better than your pic and description here commems... https://goccf.com/t/128099 Coincidently, here is a bit of interesting video from today interviewing Joan O'Malley on the creation of the flag 50 years ago tomorrow. http://ottawa.ctvnews.ca/video?clip...istPageNum=1 Edited by CC-Ottawa 11/05/2014 2:38 pm Report this Post to the Staff
Silveroid Pillar of the Community Canada 6768 Posts	Posted 11/05/2014 2:51 pm Nicely crafted Remembrance Day coin wouldn't harm to all the crowd of adult and babies animals and all other "whatever", that has been stroke or painted on top of the coins. Report this Post to the Staff
