tenbobbit Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 701 Posts	Posted 12/04/2014 12:25 pm I know that these coins are quite common but I had to show it to you because of the hilarious off centre strike. Most of the counterfeits are of a similar standard with known details anomalies and always underweight. This is also underweight but the strike is quite funny to me, I also noticed that they didn't seem to have a 1 for the date and used a J instead. tenbobbit Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 701 Posts	Posted 12/05/2014 05:08 am So they actually managed to get that bit right To think that it might actually have circulated looking like this is funny to me, then again from what I have read it was estimated that the majority of these coins in circulation were counterfeit, apparently the poor didn't need coins. I have not been able to match it to the known examples documented yet, although there are several with a similar off centre strike but nothing with so much of GEORGIVS missing. More research later.
