a 1975 proof set for $5.00. the holder was beat so I had one of these old set holders and put the Ike in a Airtite.

The pics do not compare. the mirrors are so deep, makes you want to dive in.

I'd say you got a pretty good deal there! Those are nice! I have the three-coin bicentennial set (I was born in '75 so it passes as a birth year set ), and I've always had a soft spot for any of the bicentennial coinage. I used to hoard the quarters until I started working at the bank and realized I'd go broke if I bought every one that came through the door!
