Gyrene7483 Pillar of the Community United States 1704 Posts	Posted 04/26/2015 7:53 pm The 1859 Philadelphia Half Dime is a one year sub type with subtle modifications to Liberty and most noticeably the stars have a "hole" in the center. Finding pieces that do not have flat stars and a fully struck head is quite a challenge. I bought this coin graded AU-58 from Eugene Bruder a couple of years ago. Report this Post to the Staff
