It seems to be in pretty good condition. There does seem to be a little toning on the reverse. Thoughts?   |

This coin would not receive a numeric grade from PCGS or NGC as it is damaged.

Nobody would send this coin to PCGS or NGC, it's worth less than $4, we're accommodating and will give anything a numerical grade, corroded or not.

DBM: I agree with everything you say. I was not very clear. I was referring to zxcccxz post as to U.S. grading standards which PCGS and NGC reflect. By Canadian grading standards (ICCS) a damaged coin can receive a numerical grade with the problem mentioned. This seems to be a popular approach.
