I couldn't see any peg legs. I kept 74 and 77 clad proofs plus a couple BU '71Ds.
Nothing else remarkable.
On to selling $120 worth I don't want to keep...

I was very surprised to find $125 at a bank this time of year, so I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to search the coins!

I just touched base with my CU lady. Did not ask about IKEs, but every time I do send an email, she most likely will check her "other" 6-7 branches. I'm 99% sure that is the case. If there is any in her (the) system, she will bird dog them for me.

Was trading a box of halves for cash yesterday before picking up my next 2 boxes of halves, when a gentleman ask about halves, and Susan B's. The teller brought out from the safe an envelope with Ikes in it and he purchased 5 of them. I ask if she had more and I took all she had, 20, Cent. 1976's, 2 were P the rest, you guessed it, D's. M wife likes the Ike's so we hoard them in the safe, currently have 164.Webekin

Hi everyone, Went to the bank last Friday and they had $59 in Ikes. I only had an extra $10 on me, so picked up what I could at the time. Went back this morning and got the rest ($49). Here's what they had: 11-1971 11-1971D 5-1972 14-1972D 1-1974 6-1974D 1-1976 Type 2 2-1976D Type 1 2-1976D Type 2 3-1977D 1-1978 2-1978D Very excited to say that I only have 1 Ike left in the business strike set (1977), and that I've obtained them all from my bank at face value. May not be the prettiest set, but I like it! My son only needs the 1977 and 1974 for his.

very nice set, dsch!
I picked up 2 Ikes at a bank in a grocery store yesterday, but neither of them (71-D and 74-D) were remarkable other than they were AU.

I finally have something to post here! I got 2 Ikes at the bank today, and one was a 1971-S silver: The color was different and the rim was thicker, so I knew it was silver when I first saw it.

ZIP (new ones) for me, for too many weeks But, I have 3 Doctors in the same building, So I always ask one office if they have any "samples" of insulin. That time, she had none, but I said "do you have a coin collection?" Her eyes glazed over. I left a Bicentennial Kennedy half dollar. Yesterday, I was there again, asking for samples. First she said no; then she said let me look. She found samples. I had an Eisenhower dollar ready for her. Doing an analysis on this situation, my $1.50 investment netted me (approx) $150 in return.
