if it is proof you are a very lucky duck, BUT if you look at proof 2 1/2 dollars the fields are deeper.

Need zoomed in pics of both sides with clearness too...No blurry pics please. It may just be a sharp luster or it could very well be a proof based on the Seated quarter you also posted. Seems like your grandfather had a good eye for coins.
