So, Just curious... what do you have to do to be a 'favored customer'?

Monument Metals has dimes and quarters at 19xface with free shipping over I think $200. I bought 5 rolls of dimes as a test a couple weeks back and they looked really nice no slicks. Like them enough I ordered another 5 rolls this week the have decent prices on ASE's as well. I remember seeing them posted here on a thread and tried them and am really pleased

Quote: what do you have to do to be a 'favored customer'? It probably varies between LCSs, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you become a favored customer by helping out his business, buying coins regularly, and cleaning out inventory that the LCS has been sitting on, and things like that.

Besides being a regular customer, I will review the foreign coins purchased and sort the silver from the nonsilver, and research coins for hiim.

Coin show today in Oshkosh, Wisconsin - cheapest I could find was 19.5x-20x. Some dealers wanted 26x for circulated Franklin halves so that was an easy pass at that ridiculous price.

26x for circ Franklins? Were they selling or collecting dust?
Stackers definitely pushed up prices over the last few years but there has to be a ceiling somewhere.

Yeah 26x....I was shocked. I was trying to top off a roll of Franklins and just needed a dozen more. I am impatient at times so I tried one last dealer on the way out. He had 5 of them marked at $12.00/each in his half dollar folder so I grabbed those and asked what he could do on them. He graciously knocked them down to $10.00/each. Not a great price, but I grabbed them. Hopeully the coin show this weekend will have better selection and prices for 90%.

Best I could find at today's coin show was 19x for dimes and quarters. Seemed like there was more available today than last week's show at the higher silver price. Most was 20x face and didn't seem to be selling as well as a week ago for whatever reason.

@CoinHunter53562 Silver is down, so probably fewer takers at those multiples. Supply is probably also getting better.

I just checked APMEX, they have circulated 1964 Halves for $202 per roll of twenty. Not a bad prices for a large business.

Given the steady premiums we've all seen the last couple years 20x retail sounds normal at current spot.
90% is so hot and Eagles are still spot plus $10 almost everywhere. I don't think the premiums are coming down any time soon.
Keep those updates coming... I have a ton more US silver to list here in the forums so I'm following this thread closely.

Yep I am ok with 20x. I would love to get it for less, but just happy when I can find it 19-20x at coin shows and not having to pay tax on top of it. I have set a long-term goal of getting to around $1500 face of 90%. I have a very long way to go, so I just have to chip away at it little by little.

With silver prices dropping, has anyone been able to get junk silver at 15x face yet?

Coin show this morning had prices as low as 18.5x with quite a bit available from that dealer to as much as 21x. Most was around 20x. One guy who normally sets up went there to browse and sell and was asking 17x.
