That was probably my second-best box. My greatest box had four War Nickels (1943-P, XF-AU 1943-D, 1944-P, and VF-XF 1945-D) and three Buffalos (AG or G 1917-S, 1925, and 1934).

Results for my last box are dismal. Only thing worth mentioning is a 1975 Canadian (they're kinda rare here in Texas) and a 1946S.

I am new to this thread so I am wondering why people list they found x amount of pre 1960 nickels? Is it that they are 50 years old or is there some reason I am missing?

Some searchers, myself included, just like to keep Jefferson nickels up to a certain year because of how old they are. My personal "cutoff date" is 1960, some people have earlier or later years.
