Almost missed this war nickle.
I have never found a silver nickle corroded like this before.

2 boxes of nickels.

I haven't done a box of nickel or cents in 2 weeks and I have 5 boxes of each sitting here.

Box 1 had a 1942, 1942P, 1945P, a buffalo, and a holed (first holed nickel I have seen)

Box 2 had a 1943P ender, 2 more 1943P, a 1944D, a decent 1941, and a foreign job.

Mixed nickels from this weekends hunt. I particularly enjoyed finding the 1941 - aside from a stain on the 'brain', it's in extremely fine shape.

Last night's box yielded a 1910 Liberty, which is only our fourth. I think we find about 1 liberty per 100,000 nickels searched.

Just went through $100 box of Nickels this evening and it was by and far the luckiest box I have found yet. 33 pre-1960s nickels, a dateless buffalo and TWO yes...TWO Liberty nickels! a 1903 and a 1912 that I found four rolls apart from each other. The first Liberty nickels I have ever found.
