I'm almost positive that this is a medieval coin. Will try to narrow it down a little if I can.

It is a german token, not a coin by Hans Krauwinkel (17th century).

Yes, the central devices (imperial orb and alternating fleur with crowns) are the right devices for a 1500s rechenpfennig of Nuernberg. You are that the letters aren't matching up well. I dont have a feeling for how many variations in wording there are with these things.
