1972 Canadian nickel with weird stamp or off colored lining threw the date kinda a gold color ...is this an error coin and if so is it worth anything?

Difficult to tell for certain with the pics, but if it's recessed, likely a nice lamination. If it's raised, likely glue or some sort of debris on it.

Interesting nickel, looks like PMD, but some one with more knowledge will have a better idea. I'm sure it wont to long for them to be along.

I'm thinking that since it doesn't reach the edges of the coin it excludes a lamination error, even if its recessed.

I am thinking retained fragment strike through of the upper rows of beaver house. Interesting. Would need coin in hand to investigate.

The colour has me scratching my head... I agree with Nickelsguy, I could not make a conclusion without the coin in hand...
