1990 P Dime Smooth Thick Edges - Coin Community Forum

Freesouvy New Member United States 47 Posts	Posted 12/07/2016 02:39 am I found a 1990 P dime with smooth thick edges. When I opened the roll I initially thought it was a penny. I'm pretty sure it's an error but I have not really been able to find anything about what it's worth or what the specific error is called. Report this Post to the Staff

Fuzzy317 Moderator United States 14463 Posts	Posted 12/07/2016 03:48 am A Dryer Coin is caused by a coin getting stuck in the inner workings of a clothes dryer (usually commercial) and the edge being altered in the process. Try a search for the term Dryer Coin, and you will see coins that are very similar to your coin. Report this Post to the Staff
