Just to qualify: "1323" would be the date in the Iranian calendar, equating to 1944 AD.
I can't quite read the date clearly enough to be certain it's 1323, and coins from later dates (1335-1344) had the same design but were struck in cupronickel. It might be 1343 (= 1964 AD).
If you can't post us a zoomed-in picture of the date (it's the four symbols below the wreath on the non-lion side), then try getting a weight. If it weighs 16 grams, then it's silver, and worth at least bullion value (there's slightly less than 1/3rd of an ounce of silver in them), probably a couple of dollars more.
If it weighs 12 grams, it's cupronickel, and only worth 50¢ or so.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
