Take close notice of the 2 letter embossed ICCS cert..

It would definitely be graded higher if sent in for a re-grade..

I would send it back without any older cert and let it be graded "fresh"..

Would a 64 put a smile on your face..?

Looks like a lock 63 Coin in a new ICCS holder. They are really really tough on Canadian Gold and "C" Mint Sovereigns. As it sits in the old embossed holder , I am a buyer at 775.00 Canadian all day long.
Personally I would not resubmit this coin . I would just ask YOUR price.
Looks like a very nice Coin !

I hate grading coins under plastic from on screen pictures.
As I see it, this coin could grade anywhere from 61 to 64.
I would understand your reticence in taking it out of it's protection, just for a grading.

I have been around Australian sovereigns since 1965.
Don't fall in love with your coins; I have long since learned not to do that !
A loyal happy dog is much more fun.

Your most accurate bet would be to take it to a few experienced dealers that are worth their salt, and have them examine it under a 10x loupe, just as it was originally graded.
I strongly agree that you should ask YOUR OWN price, based on their average grading.
If you ask a dealer what they may sell it for, you may agree with that opinion, you may not; that is up to you.

Golden rule: "The man that has the gold makes the rules"

It would help to increase your own grading confidence, by taking part in lots of threads that ask for a grading, here in the CCF.
Best to have a go at grading those coins that are pictured 'raw', but slabbed coins provide nice way to be able to check your accuracy.
