Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 75629 Posts	Posted 06/28/2018 5:01 pm On the obverse, it could be a Struck Through error, but closer pictures will be needed. On the reverse, that's Machine Doubling, since the devices are reduced in size, and it's shelflike in appearance. http://www.error-ref.com/machine-doubling/ Edit: Do any members think that the OP's coin was Struck Through on the obverse? Normally if it were damage you would see displaced metal around the edge of the affected area, and I'm not seeing that, so I'm leaning towards a strike through as E & V mentioned, but the pictures could be deceiving.
