1943 P Nickel - 43 Stands Out From 19

SilverAnt New Member United States 36 Posts	Posted 07/31/2018 12:48 am Anyone else see how the numbers 43 seem to pop out from the 19 - they seem to be lifted a bit more and as a result have collected more dirt/grime. Is this an error? Report this Post to the Staff

That's circulation wear and flattening that has caused the the 2 numbers "43" to look like that. It's Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint).
