Is this what is called a lamination error? But at the same time confused about the area behind the shoulder that is dark and the mark on the rim above 'GO' on GOD? I beginning to wonder if this is a struck through debris issue on this coin? the SW corner of the bust has a weaken area on that area. So my question is: On the edge of the coin is there a wrap around of metal on that area? If so then it might be a struck through debris. If not, then just a lamination. There looks like a line across that area that passes between the IB then curves below that to the blacken area. It looks like something peel off the coin. Report this Post to the Staff
