Is It Common For A Repunched Mint Mark / RPM To Also Be A Doubled Die? (1954-D)

Rabbithole1 Pillar of the Community United States 520 Posts	Posted 06/29/2019 9:11 pm I just posted a picture of my first RPM,1954D RPM #3. One of the markets was the die chip on the T in CENT, but then I noticed it's also a marker for 1954D DDO stage B. Could a coin have both an rpm and be a doubled die? Like this 1927-D RPM, the DDO is pictured and mentioned in the die stages, on others it may be mentioned in the description.: http://varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20...7DRPM001.htm If it doesn't mention it on the site, there are likely no other varieties on the coin. The T is a common place for die chips, there will be numerous different dies with similar chips. Report this Post to the Staff

I have seen that before. All the extra eyelids are on the right side of the eye, above or below the eyelid.
