It is raised and appears to have affected the 6. Any thoughts on what this might be? Thanks. Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 02/20/2020 12:30 pm Any incuse mark on a die will leave a raised area on the coins struck. Note closer on this area it show flow lines on the fields and over that area. That tells me it was on the die for quite sometime. It maybe that the die was damaged as the '6' moves away from that area. So a contact on the die, a mark/gouge, may have damaged the die? Report this Post to the Staff
