i can usually tell if a penny is zinc or copper.

how much does it weigh? 2.5 grams or 3.1 grams

You can tell it is Zincoln by the gray tones on several areas of the coin. So it will be a 2.5 gram coin.

It did weigh 2.5g but since I'm still learning, I was happy that I could tell the difference between the small & large dates. Thanks everyone
