I can only give you my advice, and my advice is you shouldn't clean your coins. You can do as you please. I won't nor will I ever clean my coins. If really needed, a soak in distilled water is ok, but that's where I draw the line as to what I would do. I am not a fan of acetone, but others will tell you otherwise, and that's their opinion.
