I have tried to do the best that I could do to determine if this coin has DDD, a DDO, or a combination of both.
I sent a message to James Wiles and he replied that I should try CONECA, (He must be swamped). I don't have the payment method they require to join as of yet.
I caught wind of this community so here I am. I've taken pictures of the coin in question and another for comparison (it does have a die crack though).
I would appreciate any input.

Machine Doubling will look flat and shelf-like. Check VarietyVista.com for examples of DDOs and DDRs..

to CCF...good luck on future finds, have fun and keep asking when in doubt....

Thanks for the response. I was curious about the similarity to the 1938 Jefferson nickel FS-106 in the CherryPickers Guide.
Would I be correct in saying that the doubling would be to the East? The "shelf" to the West is in the normal location
