1942 S War Nickel Why So Dark? - Coin Community Forum

T-BOP Rest in Peace United States 18456 Posts	Posted 12/11/2021 7:45 pm It's the different metal composition . A circulated War Nickel usually has that dark color to it . After 1945 the composition changed thus the lighter color Nickel . Report this Post to the Staff
