If the OP's coin was genuine then the reeds would be on the inside step, not on the outside perimeter. (have a good look at the placement of the reeds on the second coin that was posted by jasper62. I don't think that this is a partial collar or a tilted planchet. It is intentional damage made to look like an error. Collecting since 1972. Learning from then on "Tell me and I forget.
