Found this 1984 Lincoln D with small circles punched into it. The circles seem to small and to deep from pressure to be from a coin roll machine or could it?

No, just deliberate damage.

A fun one. Appears to be deliberate/intentional damage along with hardened glue/translucent crud. A long soak in 100% acetone could clear some things up. Not Rolling Machine Damage.
