It looks like another cent was covering the top 2/3 of the coin while it was toning. (Take note of the arc where the edge of the other coin was.)

Your 52-D Lincoln sure is a rainbow toner . Make sure you holder that coin .

thanksi thought it was kind of neat the way it looks like a rainbow being upside down like that and I'm going to put it penny collecting book that I'm doing
