on this 1969 D cent would this be considered a no F.G I think some of it is still there it's just very very weak

Not a no FG, you can still see part of the G
and a vague outline of the F

It's odd how the initials are much more visible (to me anyway) in the overall pic compared with the closeup image. Must be the lighting?

I have seen the same when looking at 1922 Weak-D cents for sale online. I get excited until I look at the zoom out and see it.

I can make out FG, it has to be gone for a non-FG cent

this is a good example of why larger pics, larger than about 1000 pixels, are often worse for our purposes here than smaller pics
